Reservations for Summerlicious Now Available

Reservations have started for the hugely popular prix-fixe restaurant promotion and a highlight of summer in Toronto, Summerlicious presented by American Express. The program runs from July 4-20 with more than 130 participating restaurants offering three-course prix-fixe menus at $15 or $20 for lunch and $25 or $35 for dinner.

Hi Everyone:


I hope you will take time to read the message below from my good friend, Karen. Eight years ago I got involved in a battle to maintain Chester Village at 717 Broadview Avenue as a facility for seniors.
There are so few facilities in the downtown for seniors and I consider this one to be very important. Chester Village was purchased by the city 8 years ago and intended to become a family shelter.

Indeed. We are just rolling out a collaborative with Working Skills Centre: a community arts project documenting newcomers and seniors journeys (?). This will be digitized and linked on the site by end of summer. We will write it all up and post seeking participation and support. Thank you for the invite!
