We had an unhappy experience at Hair by Nature on the Danforth and we felt we treated very badly -- they lose the appointment but look at us as if we are lying -- ignored -- made to wait -- ignored some more. If we hadn't prepaid we would have walked out. So we won't go there again and we hope others will avoid them as well.

Those of us living near the public housing at 812 Broadview have some concerns about what goes on there. Last year we met with the administrators (Houselink) and they addressed our issues. This year we are meeting again to voice any concerns.

The meeting is at 812 Broadview at 7pm on Wed Sept 30.

Does anyone know Dominic, Barbara, Simon & Amelie. We got a Xmas card from Ottawa for them to our address (63 Cambridge) but we don't know who they are.

Yesterday (Monday) we were walking home from karate at 6pm and the police had wrestled a drug dealer to the ground. They had a hard time getting him into the car and eventually another police car arrived and the five police got him into the car. One person said that at the start of the incident police drew their guns.

Not as sweet a neighbourhood as I thought....
