- Read your article last week about the impact of the big blue bins on "her" and its funny, I had the same thought having seen her early mornings in front of my own house. I've also seen the bicycle army out late at night collecting throughout the neighbourhood - its a competitive business. So my solution has been to keep the returnables in one of the old blue bins which I put out next to the big one on the appropriate day. Its a small thing, but if someone has to make ends meet in this way, it is no hardship to me to make it a bit easier for them. I have encouraged my neighbours to do the same. Just a thought.
