Looking for a great exterior painter ...

Have you had the trim - windows, soffets, porches, eaves, etc painted on your home recently? What was your experience? Do you have any advice of issues to be aware of?

Who do you recommend to do great exterior painting for our home & garage?

We had our house painted a few years ago -- I wouldn't recommend our painters; however, I would caution you to paint a sample of your colour before you commit to buying the paint. Look at the sample in different lights -- what might look okay in the morning, might be quite different from what it looks like in the evening. We used Sisco brand on the advice of the wonderful people in the paint store on Queen near Broadview and we're thrilled. We have the only hunter green house in the neighbourhood; if you want to see a great paint job -- check out the one on Baltic Ave. just west of Donlands! She really has a great colour sense and did the work herself.

Hi Michael,

We had a great experience with our exterior painter a couple of years ago. He was meticulous in prepping our previously painted ( i.e. peeling) wood windows and trim. He made our tired house look like new. His contact info is: Dale 416.435.2466. He also lives in the area.
